About The Campaign
Camp on Right to Information in districts of Bihar from 5 Feb to 15 Feb 07
On 19 Dec 06, in the meeting of campaign a decision was taken that from 5 Feb 07 to 15 Feb 07 an awareness camp will be organized in every district of Bihar. This camp will be held near the office of district magistrate in that lawn only.
They should put one table and two chairs and stick the banner at the camp place. Apart from this Handbill and Application form should be kept in the camp. This Handbill and Application form will be distributed among the people who come to the camp. If possible we can arrange one mike set also. There would be two volunteers in the camp who would prepare application for people. For this camp, supportive organizations will help in arranging important materials. All types of important materials will be arranged at the local level only. Amount for expenditure is also included in this.
While this camp would be going on central committee will make newspaper a media friend. In this all-state news will be published. At local level it would be made media friendly and local news would be published in the newspaper. Before the camp they should advertise it in your region and application should be given to government office, organizations and other places in the district.
For Coordination of this Camp we will take help from these people

For increasing awareness on Right to Information these steps should be taken
o If there is an arrangement of showing CD related to campaign, central committee would provide it.
o Right to know program relayed on Doordarshan and it should be made public.
o If possible we can organize seminar on Right to Information.
o A signature campaign would be started against Right to Information amendment bill.
o Find the list of all information officers of your district and send its copy to central committee.
The office of central committee of this campaign will be in the office of Koshish, Abdin House, Fraser Road.
On the behalf of central committee one small group will meet helper organization in Jan 07 in second and third week of every district. After this a large meeting will be done on 29 January.
While the camp is at process, joint with national campaign, Sandip pande, Arvind Kejarival, Aruna Roy will also participate. Their arrangement of participation in the camp will be done at local level only.
First camp will be put-up at Patna secretariat, Daroga Roy Murti, near Mangles Road from 29 Jan 07 to 4 Feb 07. With this camp our program will start. Camp is going on in west Champaran. In Masodhi region of Patna district, information of camp is to go from 8-12 Jan.
